SONY SRS-XB13 is sturdy, dust & water-resistant that provides you with quality sound.
SONY SRS-XB13 is a good value for money in case you are looking for a Bluetooth pocket speaker. It can resist rough & tough handling so if you are a traveler, this might be ‘the best option you’ve got. It has a special strap that makes it traveling with it easier. So, hang it out of your backpack or on your wrist, it has a good durable exterior.
SONY SRS-XB13 Design & Performance
Now coming to the overall design & performance, the cylindrical speaker is the size of a small sugar jar. The soft buttons for power on, pair, pause, and adjust volume come on the sides. On the top, the design has a metal mesh & the base has lifted the speaker up from the ground offering space for air to pass through. There is a USB-C port behind a rubber flap underlining.
The speaker has an IP67 rating which means it is just as good outside as it is inside. So be it your study table or hanging out with friends in a park, it just fulfills your expectations. To be honest, I am not a fan of small speakers however, I was fooled by its compact form. This little speaker is packed with major surround sound with Sony’s Extra Bass™ technology. The Sound Diffusion Processor can expand sound in any space, with its DSP technology making it your go-to choice.
The sound that comes from SRS-XB13 is crisp & loud. The passive radiators work with full-range speakers to highlight high & low-end tones. It even got a good battery reputation. It is claimed to provide 16 hours of battery life & the charging takes 4.5 hours from dead to full charge. However, if your volume is constantly 80% above then the battery might get drained 6 times faster. Additionally, a built-in mic lets you experience hands-free calling straight through your speaker.
SONY SRS-XB13 Price
SONY SRS-XB13 is priced at Rs 3990 on Amazon.in & Rs 4990 on Sony Official India website. It is available in multiple colors like Black, Pink, Blue & Taupe. I feel like the Taupe color speaker looks cheap but it’s just my perception. You can always go with Black which is timeless & classy. With so many features & given its build quality I think it is the best portable speaker you get at this price which is not even expensive.
