Redmi Pad SE 4G features an IPS LCD. It is a 8.7 inch display with a resolution of 800 x 1340p, and 90 Hz refresh rate. It has a average brightness of 500 nits and a max of 600 nits for outdoor scenarios. The display is basically a 800p display but with such a screen size the 800p display doesn’t look that bad. The amount of brightness you get to see is perfect for indoor use, for outdoors the texts are barely readable under direct sunlight. For protection you get to see Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Redmi Pad SE 4G has a Mediatech Helio G85 at it’s heart. It is a octa core processor based on 12nm architecture. For GPU you get to see Mali G52 MC2 and as OS you get to see android 14 with Hyper OS layered on top. The using experience of this device is pretty good. The G85 is quite good in handling day to day apps. Watching youtube is fun on this device but upto a resolution of 1080p, if you go higher you may see some stutter. Games like COD and BGMI runs as it will run on any budget smartphone, giving good FPS but slight frame drops here and there.

Redmi Pad SE 4G comes in two variants. One is 4GB and 64GB and another is 4GB and 128GB. You get to see 2 colours ocean blue and urban grey for both the variants and a special forest green colour only for the 128GB variant. No matter what variant you choose both has the eMMC 5.1 storage, which is very outdated in today’s time but considering the price can’t complain much.

Redmi Pad SE 4G features a 8MP primary shooter with an aperture of f/2.0 and also features a LED flash and the primary camera can record videos at upto 1080p at 30fps. For the selfie shooter it has a 5MP sensor with an aperture of f2.2 which can also record videos at upto 1080p at 30fps. THe cameras are quite average and you can use them if you want to click a picture of some document or attend a zoom call but don’t really recomend for clicking selfies and getting any creative with the main camera.

Redmi Pad SE 4G comes with Dual Stereo speakers that has Dolby Atmos Support. The quality of the speakers is pretty decent, and the loudness is very good. This tablet also features a 3.5mm audio jack is which is rare these days.

Redmi Pad SE 4G features Dual 4G connectivity. You get a dedicated 2 SIM and 1 SD CARD slot. You can put a maximum of 2TB SD card for maximum storage. For Wifi and bluetooth you get to see wifi 5 and bluetooth ver 5.3 which is decent according to 2024 standards.
Battery and Charging of Redmi Pad SE 4G
Redmi Pad SE 4G features a 6650mAh battery which is decent for an 8.4 inch tablet which has such specifications but there’s a downside. It has a 10W charging and yes it will take a huge time to charge it. It takes 3+ hours to charge the device to full which can be a painful thing to watch.

This tablet is for those people who has a strict budget of 10-12k and can’t go any higher. People who are student who wants a bigger display than phone who want to do some documens related work, want to read something from a portable display which is a bit bigger than phone, students who are not able to convince their parents for a premium tablet so for those people, this tablet is a good choice.
