iPhone 12 Pro Glance
Apple’s latest launched Iphone smartphone pre-booking has already started and the race to buy new iphone and upgrade has already begun. So far Iphone 12 and Iphone 12 pro went on for sale after which sometimes later will be followed by Iphone 12 mini and iphone 12 pro max. As the festive season is going on there will be a surge in buying and pre-booking Apple’s latest iphone.
In India, iPhone 12 pro starts at INR 1,19,900 for 128GB variant and climbing upto INR 1,49,900 for 512GB.
Coming back to iPhone 12 pro, this year Apple would send all its iPhone in a much slimmer boxes and its due to the removal of its accessories (No Adapter also). Whether its an eco-friendly move or an attempt to increase profits and lessen revenue is still unknown, but iPhone 12 series comes only with a USB Type C to Lightning cable. Apple has made this decision in hope that existing user must be having their old iPhone’s charger, but I doubt it as their charger is much more fragile than any other brands and on the other side a new user would have to buy Charger as well when buying iPhone.
So the first change in Iphone 12 pro is its design. Not much of a difference from iPhone 11 pro but the side stainless steel curve is now flattened. Quite a different look as most of the phones today have curved side design which gives a good appearance. Talking about color variant then it comes in a new Pacific Blue, Gold, Graphite and Silver.
Most of the features are same as iPhone 11 pro but in this version they have stereo speakers, is dust and water resistant and supports wireless charging. Coming to the display it stands at 6.1 inches and is OLED, HDR-certified display with a new glass material which Apple call “Ceramic Shield”. Apple claims to have 4 times more shatter resistance than its previous models.
The iPhone 12 pro has latest A14 Bionic SoC which is said to be much more faster and efficient and will allow its user to have a smooth and hassle free usage of the device, also this phone has new ISP (Image signal processor) which allows to enable Dolby Vision HDR video recording on the device’s camera.
Speaking of camera , Apple has three main one which includes 12 Megapixel as its wide angle camera, ultra-wide angle and telephoto. Apple also has introduced new Smart HDR for better exposures in low and backlit photos. The most interesting feature in iPhone 12 is in its 12 Megapixel dual selfie camera as it now supports Deep fusion and Night mode. There’s a new feature called LiDAR scanner too, which gives a better augmented reality (AR) experience and promises to give a better autofocus in low light.
Now as we come to the end of this article, iPhone 12 pro definitely has some new features on board but its not much of something new and fresh that one would like to experience and feel. As current iPhone 11 pro users would understand it much better if it’s worth going for 12 pro or not.
