When you think of the cheapest gaming mouse how cheap can you think? Don’t take it wrong, I mean how much low can the price go – what’s your guess? Let me give you a hint – It costs similar to a plate of biriyani. Yes you read that correct, it costs as much as a good plate of biriyani and let’s now break the suspense, so it costs 337 indian rupees. So which mouse is this? Let’s check it out.
The Cheapest Gaming Mouse on Amazon and its Specifications
Ant Esports GM60 is the cheapest gaming mouse that you can find on Amazon. It is a copy of the famous mouse from Logitech – G102. But we can’t complain much as it costs only 300 something rupees. With that much money we rarely get to choose between what mouse we want and they are giving a gaming mouse. The sensor of this mouse is unknown and the brand has just mentioned optical gaming sensor with an IPS of 28 and an acceleration of 8g. The catch is – with such specifications no sensor can be called a gaming sensor. You get to see four staged DPI upto 3600 with a dedicated DPI button on the mouse. The four stages are 1200,1800,2400 and 3600. It is a USB powered gaming mouse and comes with a 1.8m cable. The cable quality is suprisingly good coz I have seen worse cables coming with mouse priced higher than this. The weight of this mouse is 110g, which is heavy for a gaming mouse but decent for a mouse priced that low. It supports windows xp and higher, linux, mac OS, & android as well. Lastly it comes with plenty of sparkling lights. They market it as RGB but you can’t control the lighting or even change the effect, it changes on its own just like sparkling lights on Durga puja.
How durable the cheapest gaming mouse will be?
The AntEsports GM60 is build with better than expected quality plastic, it is so because at this price making a mouse with RGB and then giving it a gamery touch is really difficult. And I am impressed by the quality of plastic they have used. Although they used good qualtiy plastic but the finishing of the product is not very good, the edges are rough and sharp and will scratch your table or mousepad very easily. The switches are of good quality but I am not sure about their durability. The brand claims that it has a life span of 300 million clicks but their typing mistake(wrote life span as life spawn) gives me 2nd thoughts about their claims. Summary
As the Cheapest gaming mouse to ever exist on amazon, it’s good, it kind of exceeded my expectations and in someways, it has disappointed as well, but in my opinion the brand did what they could have could have done with that kind of a price tag in mind. And from a customer point of view I will say that this is just an office mouse with some flashy lights.
