Wireless mouse is the new way to go, everything is going wireless these days and so should your boring mouse. Now there are a ton of wireless mice to choose from ranging from as low as 300 rupees to as high as 25000 rupees. But today we will be talking about an office mouse that does the job perfectly and also comes at a very reasonable price tag.

So what mouse is this and where can I buy it?

This is flipkart v8 mouse. You can but it on flipkart’s official website. Unfortunately if you are from outside India you can’t buy one. But if you are an Indian, consider yourself lucky because you can get hands on the flipkart v8 mouse. It’s just that there is a little catch. The flipkart mouse is currently out of stock for a few months and there’s no update regarding when will it come back in stock again. The price of this mouse is 500 Indian rupees and you can only but it from their official site. I have made a video about this mouse showing what you get inside the box and sharing my experience with it and why flipkart should bring it back in stock. You can checkout the video by clicking here

What are the specifications of this wireless mouse?

The flipkart v8 is a non gaming wireless mouse so it doesn’t have any gamery specifications. The specifications are not that impressive. It has a normal optical sensor which is perfect for day to day tasks. It has a fixed DPI of 1600 and you can’t change it.The only thing you can do if you feel it’s moving fast is go the mouse settings under mouse settings and change the pointer speed to what suits you the best. The clicks are of standard quality but they are so silent and tactile that it will instantly make the money you spend on it worthy. The clicks are that good for the price. If you share your room with someone and you work at night as well than this is a great mouse for you. You can work with ease without disturbing the other person.

Weight and battery life of this wireless mouse?

The weight of this mouse is 64g without the battery and around 69g with the battery. It is a very light weight to be honest. I use a flagship wireless gaming mouse from logitech, the G pro wireless and that thing is 80g. So you can understand how light this is. The battery life of this wireless mouse is insanely good. One battery will cover you for than 6 months even if you use it daily, so 2 batteries per year and you are good to go. And one thing that I forogt to mention in the video was that it doesn’t have a power switch, once you unplug the receiver it turns of automatically and even the receiver is connected after one min of inactivity it will turn itself off to save battery. You just need to tap any of the clicks to wakeup the mouse and than you are good to go again.

So why did they stop selling it?

So the reason is still not known but if there is a great demand from public I think they will surely bring back the v8 model. So I am asking everyone to run a hashtag “bringv8back” and tag flipkart so that they bring back the good mouse so that people can buy and use the good product instead of the bad products that are surfacing the market in that price segment.
