Samsung has finally launched their new watch the Samsung galaxy watch 7. In the last Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Event, all the questions were answered and all the next generation tech from Samsung was revealed. For the first time in a while we got to see a new watch variant that is the new Ultra variant. The Ultra variant is definitely cool and the hype is all about Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra competing with Apple watch Ultra but the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 base version is also no joke. It packs some insane performance just like the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra and I guess it will be the best option for most of the Galaxy Watch users who are thinking of upgrading.
Inside the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7
It has the same chip inside as that in the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra and it has the same bioactive sensor, the same display and a lot of things same to same in the software as well. And on top of that it is half the weight of what the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra weighs and half the price too. You get to see 2 different size to choose from – 40mm and 44mm, and two different colours as well – green and silver, unlike the ultra which only comes in one size and you get to see the ultra in only one colour option.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 comes in two different sizes enabling people to choose according to the wrist size and you get to see 3 different band options available, there’s a sport band which is a bit rubberish and grips well, and is sweat proof. There is also a fabric type band as well if you like that kind of material in your band.
Water resistance and tracking of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 is water resistant and is ip68 rated, it can handle water pressure upto 5 atmos. We have a saphire crystal face and the body is made of aluminium. The display is either 1.31 inches or 1.47 inches depending on the size you get a super amoled 330 ppi screen, which gives aboslutely great pictures for a screen that rests on your wrist. It has the same new biocative sensor just like the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra and it is more acccurate than ever. It does all the stuff the old sensor used to do but better. The heart tracking to be specific is just really accurate now.
Battery life of the the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7
The larger one has 435 mAh battery and the smaller one has 300 mAh battery so you can expect a full day battery life from these watches and putting it to charge before going to shower in the morning will just get it juiced up and ready by the time you leave your house. Incase you wanna know it still charges with a 10W charger, the batter is small so this doesn’t matter much.
Software and sensors in the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7
You get to see Android Wear OS 5 with One UI Watch 6 on top. For the sensors it has all the important one like Accelerometer, gyro, heart rate, barometer, altimeter, compass, SpO2, temperature (skin) and BioActive.
