There are many kinds of PC’s available nowadays and NUC mini PC’s are also a thing in today’s world. These are extremely compact PC builds for billing machines, or for offices that need to setup in a limited space or for people who are working from home and who don’t want a lot of space to get occupied there.

Inside the box you get to see your Mini PC, a 120W power adapter, a power cord, a driver CD, a vesa mount to mount it on the back of your monitor, incase you wanna do that to save desk space and some paper work from the brand.

Design and Build of Asus NUC Mini PC PN Series

Asus NUC Mini PC PN Series comes in a fully polycarbonate build and currently it is available only in black colour. You get to see a little bit of ventilation on the bottom side and feets to keep the ventialtion side off the surface. On the back side also you get to see ventilation and both in front and back you get to see plenty of ports.

For the ports you will see a power indicator, 3.5mm audio port, 1 USB C 3.2 GEN 2, 2 USB A 3.2 GEN 2 and a power button in the front. At the back you get to see 2 HDMI ports to have 2 monitor outputs simultaneously with a maximum resolution of 8K at 60hz. If used with a 1080p screen it can provide upto a maximum of 240 hz and 120hz for 1440p. You also get to see a VGA port incase you wanna connect an old monitor with it. Here also you get 1 USB A 3.2 GEN 2 and 1 USB C 3.2 GEN 2 but this one also supports DP 1.4 that means you can also take display output from this type C port as well. So in total you can make it work with 4 displays simultaneously. And lastly you get to see a lan port and a power input.

Specifications of Asus NUC Mini PC PN Series

Asus NUC Mini PC PN Series has many varities, the one I’m currently talking about is the PN64. It comes with Intel i5 12500H which is a 12 cores and 16 threads processor, featuring 4 P cores and 8 E cores with a maximum TDP of 95W. You will get to se intel’s XE graphics here. For the ram you can install 16GB DDR5 memory clocked at 4800Mhz with a max support of 32GB ram, and 1TB GEN 4 SSD and it supports a max of 2TB. And for connectivity you get Wifi 6E and and bluetooth ver 5.2. You get the barebone standalone that means you don’t get to see ram and storage, you need to buy it seperately as per your requirement. You can even install a HDD if you want to because you get to see a sata slot.

Using Experience of Asus NUC Mini PC PN Series

Asus NUC Mini PC PN Series works flawlessly if you use it for day to day office tasks. It will handle those with ease. Now if you wanna do some editing stuff then you can do that as well. It is a very capable processor and can handle all sorts of photo editing and 1080p hardcore editing. If you go to 4K then you can do medium level editing on 4K 30fps and light 4K 60 fps edits. And if you feel like gaming then you can play old AAA titles like GTA V which will give you framrates well above 60fps and you can also play Esports titles like valorant where you will see more than 150+ fps pretty much all the time.
