Whatsapp Pay Officially Launched in India
Whatsapp Pay has finally officially been launched for Indian users. The company in its blog today has mentioned about this new feature and it will be as easy as sending messages to others. In addition to whatsapp pay India has other payment apps which includes Gpay, Amazon Pay, Paytm, Phonepe etc.
With over a large usage of whatsapp and whatsapp business, the company has made an impressive moveby launching this new feature. This new feature is easy and safe to use and people can easily send money to their loved ones or share the cost without any hassle.
Whatsapp has teamed up with National Payments Corporation of India(NPCI) using the Unified Payment Interface (UPI) and has partnered with 5 leading banks such as Axis Bank, ICICI, HDFC, SBI and Jio payments bank. To use this feature one must have a Bank account along with debit card after which Whatsapp will send the instructions to bank to initiate the transactions.
Apart from that Whatsapp Pay will have secured UPI Pin which has to be entered when a user wants to make payments. This makes it even more safe and reliable to use. To get this feature one simply needs to update their whatsapp via Play store and the feature will be available thereafter.
