As a result of the notorious September 2022 GTA 6 leaks, Rockstar Games had no choice but to confirm them, thus revealing its most ambitious project to date. However, this did not prevent the gaming studio from teasing the upcoming game through the latest titles. However, Rockstar did not explicitly state that the titles were teasers for Grand Theft Auto 6.

All GTA 6 teasers allegedly released by Rockstar Games are listed in this article.

An insider shares several GTA 6 Vice City leaks allegedly teased by Rockstar Games

Gaming Detective shared a Twitter thread on April 7, 2023 discussing instances where Rockstar Games may have teased Grand Theft Auto 6. The gaming studio has teased them since 2021, when GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition was released.

Rockstar has so far teased the following, according to the insider:

Taxi shirt

According to Gaming Detective, the Downtown Cab Co. Revere Collar shirt has a unique skyline that is completely different from any of the current games. They speculate that it may be a skyline from Florida or South America, which is rumored to be included in GTA 6 Leaks.

Helicopters in Miami

According to Gaming Detective, Rockstar Games teased a helicopter model resembling real-life police choppers used in Miami as part of its Holiday promo video on December 23, 2022.

A redesigned eCola logo livery for the Hotring Everon, a Vice City Metro Mule livery, and a Vice City Mambas livery were also seen in the GTA 6 leaks and may appear in GTA 6.

When will GTA 6 be released?

In February 2022, Rockstar Games officially announced Grand Theft Auto 6 and it is currently in development.

As a result of a large leak, Rockstar confirmed not just that GTA 6 is in development, but also several other details that have been rumored for some time.

GTA 6 has not yet been released.

We get our best indication of when GTA 6 will be released from Rockstar insider Tez2. According to their latest post, developers are targeting a holiday 2024 release.

According to the insider, it may also slip into early 2025.

GTA won’t arrive until 2024, and given delays in the gaming release cycle these days, it may take as long as 2025 or 2026.

Gameplay  for GTA 6 Leaks

A few short clips of what appeared to be the very first GTA 6 gameplay leaked online on September 18, causing the gaming industry to stand still for a moment. Many refused to believe it was a real trailer. Then came the more elaborate footage, including full robbery sequences and cop shootouts. Given Rockstar’s secrecy, some wondered if it was all an elaborate fake.

As a hacker attempted to “negotiate a deal” with the developers, more than 90 videos were shared by Jason Schreier, a journalist at the studio.

As a result of the leak, everything from Vice City being confirmed as the central location to footage of both previously reported protagonists was revealed. There had been no official information released before, no gameplay, no screenshots, not even a logo, so this gigantic info dump was one of the biggest in gaming history.

GTA 6 shouldn’t suffer any major delays as Rockstar assures fans that they don’t expect “any long-term effect” from the leaks.

Map leaks for Vice City – May 2021

The Vice City setting continues to leak out. The leak, shared on Imgur, shows off a whole lot more detail than the leak from last year.

Moreover, a recent job posting on Rockstar’s website revealed that VFX artists were needed. As a result of the VFX artist’s work, the player will be immersed in a believable world, from ambient effects like insects around the player and rain dripping from buildings to large scale destruction events like skyscrapers collapsing.

The popular GTA YouTuber MrBossFTW linked the job listing to a possible new map set in Florida – could this be Vice City?

Growing GTA 6 map

Bloomberg reported GTA 6’s working title is Project Americas and that the game is set primarily in a fictional version of Miami and its surrounding areas. This is likely to be Vice City, which is essentially Miami in GTA.

The report also states that the game will evolve and grow over time, adding new cities and regions throughout its lifecycle. Typically, this would involve story content, extending the world map, or adding new places to visit. Alternatively, these updates could also be included in a successor to GTA Online that is constantly expanding.

It is possible to see much more, including a road layout, here. A user on Reddit, himikotogaas, commented: “With how many times I have seen this and how it just keeps getting more and more added to it, I am increasingly hopeful it is true.”

Leaked screenshots and even leaked radio stations continued to fuel Vice City rumors throughout 2021. A video of the alleged GTA 6 map appeared on July 8.

Despite the fact that this statement does not provide any solid information on a location or era, it confirms Rockstar is open to breaking away from typical GTA titles. The historic leak also revealed that the majority of the game will take place in Vice City.

Teasers and  for GTA 6 Leaks

A number of other leaks have emerged surrounding GTA 6, including Rockstar North’s job listings for Character Costume & Wardrobe Stylists.

Fans have speculated that Rockstar leaked GTA 6 screenshots into GTA Online via a new series of shirts that were added recently.

There are two alleged leaks on Twitter that claim GTA 6 will take place in Cuba, Colombia, and Miami. One leak claims the game will take place in 2022 or 2023. According to ‘SaycheeseDGTL’, the leak came from a “Rockstar Games Insider,” while ‘RapTV’ claims the game is coming out “as soon as 2023.”

While these leaks have blown up online, they have not been confirmed, so fans should take them with a grain of salt.

Announcement of live events

Some GTA 6 fans have assumed that an old leak about a live event announcement for GTA 6 is true because Rockstar posted a job listing for a “Live Events Coordinator” on their website in June of 2021.

GTA 6 will be revealed over a series of live events, along with updates to GTA Online. These leaks should always be taken with a grain of salt, but it is possible that they are connected.
