EXPERIENCE OF THE USER
Out of the box, the CleanPod is not what I expected. The product box has a simple design with an outline of the product on the front. Inside, you’ll find the CleanPod, charging cable, storage pouch, and lanyard. The CleanPod is white with gray accents and looks perfect for matching the box’s color scheme!
There are a lot of safety instructions in the user manual, including:

The booklet also provides a clear description of how UVC radiation eliminates bacteria and germs. It reads: DNA and RNA (pathogens’ genetic codes) are scrambled by UVC radiation, which has been shown to be extremely effective in destroying bacteria and other pathogens. It can eliminate up to 99.9% of germs when used correctly. It’s crucial to point out at this point that some studies suggest UVC radiation doesn’t actually ‘destroy’ viruses. It “makes the virus incapable of reproduction” by deteriorating the genetic makeup of the virus. The sun naturally produces UVC light, which is 100% pure since its wavelength is too short to pass through the Earth’s atmosphere.

What worries me about lack of safety precautions is people who think it’s safe to drink bleach in order to rid themselves of infections will think it’s safe to just run this light across their faces or even their children’s faces, which would risk permanent damage
The CleanPod is a very simple device to use. It states that it takes 30 seconds to rid an area of germs. You simply turn it on and use a sweeping motion (back and forth) at a slow, steady pace. The device charges with USB-C so that’s a big win from me. Even though I didn’t have a lab to analyze the germ content of a device prior to using the CleanPod, I did find the device very easy to use. I used it on an Apple TV remote, my phone, my car steering wheel, radio controls, keyboard, and mouse.
FINAL REMARKS
The CleanPod helps me fight the war against germs – even with standard germs. It makes me feel just a little safer when I am sanitizing the daily mail or my doorbell. It would be great if there was an easier way to determine whether CleanPod worked besides taking samples and analyzing them in a laboratory. Apart from that, I think CleanPod is a great option for sanitizing objects.
